Our objective is to be God’s tools transforming the streets to embrace the light of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to:
Provide a critical link from the church to the streets and neighborhoods to minister to the lost, meet their physical needs, and connect them to long-term relationships built on Jesus.

Angels on Wheels formed in 1999. God directed Darrell Rhodes to purchase a bus and placed the concept of an Omaha street ministry with a bus on the heart of Brenda Banks. In just a couple of months, God linked the two and provided a bus, and the team began work. In 2003, the Angels team purchased a second bus.

With team members representing nearly a dozen churches, Angels on Wheels ministers to those on the streets and in the neighborhoods. The team relies on God’s direction to identify the specific ministry location. A Typical Night on the Streets provides details.
